Abu Bakr Masjid

Aim: A building has been purchased in a neighbourhood in Bolton, for approximately £100,000 in order to meet the needs of the local community.
The money has been paid in full, majority of which is Karz E Hasana, and needs to be repaid. Besides the repayment, the masjid also requires funds for extensive renovation.

Al Hayaa Institute

Aim: A large building has been purchased in a neighbourhood in Nelson in order to meet the needs of the local community.
The building is intended to be used to cater as a Masjid, Madrassa, tuition centre, Islamic nursery and school.
The organisation is looking at an estimated cost of £200,000 in order to progress with their vision and to carry out extensive renovation.

Academy Expansion

Organisation: Madni Dawah Academy, Brierfield
Aim: Madni Dawah Academy (MDA) has been established by local qualified scholars (male and female) to provide the community with extensive Islamic education.
The Academy also runs an aalimah course for young girls and women in their community. The course aims to educate the students with a better understanding of the deen, as well as teaching them Hanafi fiqh.
Due to the increase of projects and courses run by the Academy, an urgent need has arisen to acquire a new venue in order to cater for the large number of students and the wider community.
Alhamdulillah, Madni Dawah Academy has purchased a building through Karze Hasanah (interest free loans).
They need to raise £140,000 for the cost of the building, which also includes necessary refurbishment.

Markazul Uloom, Blackburn

​Organisation: Markazul Uloom, Blackburn
Aim: The buildings that today form Markazul Uloom were purchased in 1999. Markazul Uloom currently provides education facilities for boys and girls between the ages of 11 to 19, there are plans in place to expand these services to children right from early years onwards.
The new purpose built building which includes large prayer hall will, InshaAllah, increase the capacity of this institute and open up the facilities to a much wider age range according to the needs of the people in this locality and surrounding areas.
The new purpose built facilities will ensure that students achieve their maximum potential in terms of their education and moral upbringing.

Darul Uloom, Preston
​

​Organisation: Darul Uloom, Preston
Aim: Jamea has purchased a property in Preston for the benefit of the Muslim community. It will cater for boys over the age of 11, and will provide secular and Islamic education with boarding facilities.
The property was purchased for approximately £1M through Qarza e Hasana [interest free loan from Muslims] and £600,000 has been spent on bringing the property upto a decent, regulated standard [also through Qarza e Hasana]. Approximately £400,000 has been repaid, and the remainder is still outstanding.
Sawaab Seekers has committed to collecting £1000, so please donate generously to attain great reward.

Water Well, Malawi

​Organisation: Ummah Welfare Trust, Bolton
Aim: Ummah Welfare Trust constructs wells and hand pumps in several countries. Sawaab Seekers have used UWT to build hand pumps on their behalf in the past and have had a great experience with them.
When UWT install water wells they also train their users to maintain them, and educate them on how to keep the water supply clean and free of pollutants.
We will be donating the money to the charity UWT who are involved in building water wells in Malawi. Each well costs £1,200 as stated Ummah Welfare Trust’s website.

NOTE - We were previously doing this collection for a water well in Somalia for £2000, but the quota for making them there by the particular charity is now full mashaAllah, so we will be using the money collected to complete a well in Malawi instead.

Girls Islamic High School, Burnley

Aim: Existing Darul Islah masjid has borrowed tens of thousands of pounds and sacrificed significant mosque area to make place for a much needed Girls Islamic High School in the town of Burnley.
Further to their inaugaration of a nursery last year, just in the space of a few motnhs they started working on the high school and have carried out most of the work. There is a lot of money outstanding that needs to be paid.

Mosque Renovation, Burnley

​Organisation: Queensgate Islamic Centre, Burnley
Aim: The current mosque building has toilets and wudu khana at the entrance of the masjid which needs urgently renovating. The inconvenience caused to worshippers as they enter the masjid and those that use the toilets is quite problematic.

A former church, purchased for the Muslims in the local community required urgent attention. New facilities are being built for the worshippers which will hep significantly.
​
